Other gifts is an umbrella. A big umbrella that we use to minimize the stupid things we do and spin the stupid things that others do. Like a sigh or a head tilt/eyebrow raise combo.
"insert name here is really not the best decision-maker is she?"
"No...never has been. She's got other gifts."
I have to give a shout out to Cousin Kate to introducing me to other gifts. I've said it about once a week since I first heard her say it... and lately a lot more.
Tonight I told Bryan that I would like to accomplish something before I die. He asked if maybe that one thing could be cleaning the house. Hmmm. Probably not.
We all have gifts.... Maybe I'll start a blog.
